I am an honorary consultant haematologist with NHS Blood and Transplant, consultant haematologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and Associate Professor at the University of Oxford.
Clinically, I specialise in immunohaematology, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura, obstetric haematology and transfusion medicine. My research focuses on platelets and alternatives to platelet transfusion. I have a particular interest in the use of desmopressin to compensate for thrombocytopenia or platelet dysfunction.
