    Additional Information

In my role I am responsible for all aspects of information retrieval for the SRI, in particular managing the searching process for our systematic reviews and our two Evidence Libraries. With a background in academic teaching and research, I was trained in systematic reviewing and health information retrieval whilst working for six years for the Cochrane ENT Disorders Group in Oxford. I joined the SRI in 2003, initially part-time to help compile a database of grey literature RCTs in transfusion medicine (which developed into the Transfusion Evidence Library), and later as full-time Information Science Lead for the SRI and the UK Blood Transfusion & Tissue Transplantation Services.
